About us

IChemE’s Nuclear Technology Subject Group provides a network and forum for the technical and professional development of chemical engineers working in the nuclear industry. Chemical engineers are involved in all aspects of the nuclear power generation process.

The launch of the Nuclear Technology Subject Group was marked by a seminar on ‘Chemical engineers and the nuclear life cycle’, held on 24 February 2009 in Preston, UK.

Membership is open to all engineers and scientists active in the area – you don’t need to be a member of IChemE to join the Nuclear Technology Subject Group - join here >>
