What does society need; what are the desirable outcomes and how can chemical engineers work in partnership with others to make it happen? These are difficult questions. But IChemE believes that chemical engineers must be able to offer rational answers if our profession is to be taken seriously by decision makers and opinion formers.
In 2008 IChemE published a progress report outlining what has already been achieved and what's still to come. The report outlines the projects and initiatives currently underway to deliver the IChemE Technical strategy, the organizations who we are collaborating with and case studies on our achievements.
